Friday, April 23. 7th annual Wine Tasting! Guests will sample domestic and imported wines at stations throughout the Botanical Garden, consult expert vintners about the featured wines and enjoy live jazz performed by Jamie Beresford and the Mandate. Friday, April 23. Happy Hour History Tours. The Vista is a thriving area for nightlife and shopping, but how did it grow to be the entertainment district it is today? Enjoy a guided tour of the area and learn about its history and architecture. The tour will stop for happy hour specials along the way. Tour begins at Gervais & Vine (620-A Gervais St.). Tuesday, April 27. Celebrity Fashion Show! Some of the Midland’s most famous will walk the runway to benefit the SC Ovarian Cancer Foundation's fight against ovarian cancer. Celebrities include Mayor Bob Coble, Lt. Governor Andre Bauer, Columbia City Council Member Belinda Gergel, WLTX anchor Darci Strickland, WIS TV anchor Ben Hoover, Wendy Brawley- IMARA Magazine, and Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers.
